Active shopper screening to start at Intercity Shopping Centre

THUNDER BAY Starting on Monday, it will take a little longer to get inside Intercity Shopping Centre. The mall on Sunday announced it will be limiting entry points to the shopping centre and will conduct active shopper screening on everyone wishing to enter the mall. The entrance closest to Marshall s and the entrances closest to the former Lowe s will be the only doors open to the public until the requirement to actively screen is lifted by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Sport Chek and Marshall s entrances will be open and they will be screening as well, reads a post on Intercity s Facebook page.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament s games couldn t be played at Intercity Shopping Centre. So, instead, the tournament went virtual, with people playing Scrabble at home.
