about quid pro quo. this comes hours ahead of gordon sondland s testimony. he is at the heart of the quid pro quo conversation. so there s what s in the transcript which is in black and white for everyone to see. for those that want more there are all these interviews and depositions going on. his text messages are at the center of the impeachment investigation. the top u.s. diplomat in ukraine texts sondland, as i said on the phone, ink it s crazy to withhold security assistance for help of the political campaign. and sondland replies in this, bill, i believe you are incorrect about president trump s intensions the president has been crystal clear. no quid pro quos of any kind. sounds weird. it was dictated by trump to sondland on how to respond to that text. how damning could that be? sondland has two problems. one is there s this gap after he gets, and this is the second text message that he gets from that american ambassador and it s the second one nine days later which essential
intensions but then i worry what are you going to do with it? part of the problem is, this is not a new request. it goes back to 2012 with facebook and my space. the fbi has recognized people to get together on social media and look at their identities to carry out different goals. they can figure out when i vents might help, where they might help and what might be involved. right now they re really amping up the efforts on what they re calling early detection of these emergency situations. really neil: what the are they detecting? something that is said online back and forth with strangers, what is said in someone s gaming and streaming? where is this going? they re trying to create these in depth profiles based on what they re calling publicly available information. generally facebook and twitter
