Chandigarh University Government of India selects Chandigarh University as GATI Charter Institution to promote gender equality in Science and Technology ANI | Updated: May 25, 2021 16:37 IST Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], May 25 (ANI/PRNewswire): Department of Science & Technology (DST) under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India (GOI) has selected Chandigarh University as GATI Charter Institution (Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions) for the promotion of gender equality in the field of Science & Technology. A total of 30 Universities and Institutions have been selected by DST for the GATI pilot project and Chandigarh University is the only private sector university of India to be selected by the GOI. Amongst the Institutions selected for the GATI pilot project in the government sector include Delhi, University of Kashmir, BHU Varanasi.
