Kuala Lumpur: Public-listed Handal Energy Berhad, a leading integrated services provider to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, announced the appointment of Sabah’s former attorney general, Datuk Mariati Robert
(pic), as an Independent and non-executive Director with immediate effect.
Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Handal, Tengku Baderul Zaman Ibni Sultan Mahmud said Mariati’s legal background and experiences will be helpful in guiding and advising the company in matters of corporate governance.
As the company implements its plans to grow the business and increase shareholder value, he said they want to ensure remain transparency and above board in all they do.
