After a storm earlier this week dropped more than 9 inches of snow on Indianapolis, more snow is projected to move into Central Indiana Wednesday evening.
This latest system will bring about half an inch to an inch of snow to the Indianapolis area Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Cities and towns south of the state s capitol could get up to 2 inches of snow.
Most of the accumulating snow is forecast to end by around 10 a.m. Thursday, according to NWS meteorologist Aaron Updike. There might be some lingering snow showers with very minimal accumulations during the day, he said. But we are not expecting too much with this event.”
