VA’s 11th annual VA2K Walk & Roll event is back with the goal of moving the body in support of your whole health and well-being, while also helping homeless Veterans.
The event is scheduled for May 19, 2021, at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System starting at 10.a.m. The community is invited to participate in the VA2K event which includes a short two-kilometer walk (1.24 miles). The event is free, and it is suggested that participants be at the start line 15 minutes prior to the start.

Any veteran wanting to get a COVID-19 vaccine can receive one from the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System regardless of enrollment status or how they were discharged.

VA help site to be set up in Berne
The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System said Thursday it will partner with Adams County Veteran Services this month to help eligible individuals obtain veteran ID cards and with other services.
A veteran ID card is a form of photo ID that can be used to get discounts at many restaurants, hotels, stores and other businesses.
The assistance session is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 at the American Legion Post 468, 524 Berne St., Berne.
Officials will also provide information about federal and state veteran benefits, such as help filing service-connected disability claims.
The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System will be conducting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on March 27 at American Legion Post 31 in Angola, 1760 W. Maumee St.
