Maricopa County Sheriffâs deputies in Fountain Hills reported the following incidents during the week from Thursday, April 8, through Wednesday, April 14. On Thursday, April 8, deputies responded to the area near the intersection of Saguaro Blvd. and Indian Wells Drive where a resident reported a motorcyclist lost control of their motorcycle and fell. The operator of the motorcycle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. On Thursday, April 8, deputies responded to a report of two residents involved in a physical altercation. One of the parties involved in the altercation was arrested. On Thursday, April 8, a deputy made a traffic stop near the intersection of Saguaro Blvd. and Rand Drive. During the investigation it was discovered the driver of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant. The driver was arrested and booked into jail on the active warrant.
47-year-old man on motorized scooter killed Saturday night in Victorville crash

A man driving a motorized scooter died Saturday night after he was hit by another vehicle on a Victorville roadway, but authorities said they determined he caused the collision.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Cindy Bachman said the man killed was 47-year-old. The coroner’s office has not released his identity.
Sheriff’s officials said deputies responded to the crash on Hook Boulevard near Indian Wells Drive at approximately 7:38 p.m. Saturday.
At the scene, deputies learned a silver Honda Accord that had been heading west on Hook Boulevard collided with the westbound scooter that was originally in the center turning lane.
Deputies Probe Fatal Crash In Victorville Involving Motorized Scooter Syndicated Local – CBS Los Angeles
SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA) Authorities on Sunday were investigating a fatal collision in Victorville involving a motorized scooter and vehicle.
The accident unfolded just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Indian Wells Drive and Hook Boulevard.
It was there that deputies responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash.
When they arrived, they located the car and scooter. The driver of the scooter was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway. Anyone with information was asked to contact Deputy J. Mata or Deputy T. Wetzel at the Victorville Police Station.
