After 29 years, the true identity of Ina Jane Doe is now known. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and Redgrave Research Forensic Services announced on Friday that 'Ina Jane Doe' is actually Susan Lund who was last seen by her family on Christmas Eve 1992 when she reportedly left her family home in Clarksville, Tennessee to walk to a local grocery store. Her husband reported her missing soon after. A multi-agency search was conducted over several months. While the official missing person case was closed, Sue's family did not stop looking for her. The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,398 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois, including 42 additional deaths. There were 3 deaths reported in our area overnight, one in Effingham, Fayette, and Wayne Counties.
