that is at james madison university in virginia. just on wednesday, students were demonstrating against a conservative speaker who they accuse of spreading hateful transgender messages. we have seen protests like this from coast to coast, protest that s led to a debate over the state of free speech on college campuses. our guest caught up with students and educators at the university of pittsburgh after they protested an event featuring a right-wing commentator. [ chanting ] that s conservative podcaster being chanted down at university of pittsburgh. transgenderism must beirrad indicated by public life. they were saying whether they should regulate transgenderism. he was met by a rowdy protest
approach. according to the non-profit think tank, they have been offered a means to respond to conflict and build relationships inclusive, nonpunitive way. two students would engage in relationship building exercises in regard to fighting. but some parents think it has led to violent bullies acting out without fear of consequences. restorative justice enables the assailant, it does not protect the victim. so, expecting students to sit down with to someone and other feel the need to attack them and assault them is unacceptable. the january report by education week describes behavior and violence in schools on the rise, but districts like fairfax county in virginia told fox news the effect that restorative justice has had on them is positive, for all the
biden signed his bipartisan infrastructure bill, he signed it into law this week. virginia alone will receive more than $10 billion towards improving your roads, your bridges, airports, water systems, so is that good for virginians? well, it depends on what else comes with it. you know, we have to look at the whole bill and my god, did you see the bill was this big. who has read that whole massive thing? do we know what s really in it and do we have to pass it before we can know what s in it? i think that s true. i look at some of the other parts of the bill, for example, when you talk about broadband. broadband is very important to me, because our southwestern virginia has been suffering from not having that. in fact, 20 years ago, when i was first elected for the house of delegates, we were crying for broadband for the southwest. 20 years, i m back later still crying, and i ve got the feeling it s because nobody really cares. but as lieutenant governor, i sit on something called th
