on everybody i ve talked to that they think they re in a good place. but they don t really know until 216 little green lights show up next to the name in the house floor. it will be fascinating to watch the back of the chamber as the lawmakers go forward. leadership has in its back pocket three or four or five votes. people who would like to vote no so that can go home and vote no but told the speaker if you need me, i ll be there. there s a handful, if they get close and need two or three more or if they re at 216 and they want to give cushion, make sure that nobody is that last note or can have campaign ads cut against them that they have got a handful of guys they feel like will come. there s a sense that perhaps there s a strengths in numbers. but the goal, 216. they think they can get there. they feel like they ve got enough in reserve to push them there if they have any problems
