all right this morning, new details about the florida school killer. cnn sources say he obtained at least ten firearms, ten, now, all of them rifles, largely within the last year. we re also learning more from the family who most recently provided a home to the individual. that family now speaking out for the first time since he killed 17 people. what was he like in your home? nothing like they portray on television or in the media. everything seeverybody seemso know we didn t know. we had rules and he followed every rule to a tee. he was very polite. he seemed normal. rosa flores in parkland, florida, right now. we re also learning much more about all of this, rosa. reporter: well, john, good morning. this is reporting from our colleague evan perez,

to see in this world on their own. they have always been pushed. i m actually not confident that congress is going to do what they need to do, and, you know, in cahoots with the white house, without being pushed and backed into a corner. that s what the young students from parkland, florida, are going to do. they re not just marching on washington, they are walking out of school, they are organizing, and they will not be silent. and i think these young people are the young folks that are going to finally push congress over the edge and back them in a corner and cause them to give us some legislative relief when it comes to guns. nobody is talking about taking away second amendment rights. it is a freaking amendment in the it is an amendment in the constitution. no one is talking about changing that. but what we are talking about doing is making our schools safer, our streets safer and, again, over 90% of americans support comprehensive universal background checks. semi-automatic weap
the country and parkland, florida endured an unspeakable tragedy, but this white house is more hunkered down than usual this week. any indications they would come back and fill you in on either more context about today s indictments? i know the chief of staff has some updates to the security clearances process, but any sense that they re about to throw open the windows, throw open the doors and bring you guys in and fill you in on their thinking? i don t get that sense that that will happen today, at least publicly, nicolle. certainly the conversations that we have will continue sort of behind the scenes and in their offices. i don t get the sense that they re going to call an impromptu press briefing. for example, and obviously, we have a lot of questions not only because of the indictments, but because of the whole controversy over security clearances. and as you point out, chief of staff john kelly. i just released five pages of changes, improvements that he is going to enact, try
