Two men were arrested for their alleged involvement in a China officials impersonation scam, which caused their victims to lose more than S$445,000 (RM1.57 million) in the process.
The police described these as “China officials impersonation scams” the scam victims were made to believe by the fraudsters that the victims were talking to officials in China.
