violence rocks the nation in cities across the u.s. this weekend. people are gathering in sadness for the victims of a mass killing and frustration at the climate of hate that many blame for it. what you re seeing there, this is atlanta where demonstrators rallied at the state capitol and demanded justice for the eight people shot dead this week within and just outside the city. most of the victims were women of asian descent. cnn photo journalist christine leadership spoke to some asian-american women to see how they are processing the shooting and anti-asian activity. based on what i heard on the news, a 21-year-old man came into different asian spas, three different ones, and actively was shooting them. i just think that s devastating. especially since this happened not too far from me, and i am also an asian woman living in atlanta. this isn t new, it s been happening for it s increasingly happened over the past year. just the start of the whole pandemic. even j

departments. cnn s martin vaf ij joining me now live from nashville. what kind of damage, i see that one building behind you, but is this widespread, just like that? reporter: it s widespread but with a limited footprint. what i mean by that is that this was not the 2010 storm that covered such a large significant part of nashville. this one s a little different, but the areas it hit, the damage is kig cant. and what it shows you is the power of water. this was flash flooding. you can see there s no water around us. that is gone. but when it was here it was able to take this building and move it a quarter of a mile. it didn t just push it. most of the contents are still inside. so that would imply that this thing pretty much floated all the way here. every home on this street, most of them, are single story homes, have been impacted by water. and now you can see the aftereffect as people try to either salvage what they can, dry out what they can, or eventually sort throug
