Mount Carmel Mayor Joe Judge has announced that he will be going to Washington DC Later this month. He will be attending the Illinois Congressional Reception with Illinois Mayors at the Capital while in DC. Mayor Judge is 1 of 36 mayors in the state that will be meeting with the Illinois Congressional Delegation at Capital Hill. The reception will be hosted by the Illinois State Society and sponsored by the Illinois Municipal League. His goal on the trip is to work on getting funding to help out with projects for Mount Carmel and the surrounding area.
