The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the arrest of 19 suspected cult members in Ogun State. This was announced by the state command’s public relations officer, SP Omolola Odutola who revealed that the arrest was made in connection with the recent clashes between two rival cult groups in Sagamu. The police revealed further that the tactical operation, which occurred on Sunday, led to the arrest of one Ogunnibi Hammed, the kingpin of the Eiye Confraternity and other notorious cultists in the state.
