An employee of the Electoral Commission (IEC) has been fired after a preliminary investigations into unauthorised distribution of ANC and uMkhonto we Sizwe Party 2024 national and provincial election candidate lists at the weekend.
The electoral commission has confirmed it will concede to Action SA's request to investigate how the ruling ANC settled its R102m debt with Ezulweni Investments, in terms of the Political Party Funding Act.
