Town will remain unchanged when they face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium in Tuesday night s top of the table clash (KO 7.45pm). Fabian Wilnis, Tommy Miller and Drissa Diallo are not expected to be affected by slight knocks picked up in the Millwall game.
Off form Town dropped more home points as they drew 1-1 at home to Coventry. Marcus Bent put the Blues ahead on 16 minutes but Micky Doyle equalised for the visitors just after the half hour. Town probably had the better of the second half but failed to grab the winner, sub Ian Westlake coming closest.
Goals from Richard Naylor and Ian Westlake took the Blues to a thoroughly deserved 2-1 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday. Town were irresistible in a first half during which Naylor headed the opener, Westlake adding a second after the break before Lee Peacock s late consolation.
Town manager Joe Royle was glad to get a point out of Wednesday night s trip to Nottingham Forest. Royle felt the Blues ought to have had a penalty and wants to see more from his strikers.
