While in police custody, sursely admitted to sending a lewd photo to a student. According to court documents, sursely told police after his arrest he was texting a 15 year old female student about having sex with him. The veteran officer returned fire but may not have hit the shooter, who ran off and became the focus of an hourslong manhunt south of the las vegas strip.
