“Today they are holding their states accountable for the suffering that their laws have caused,” said Nancy Northup, president and CEO of the national nonprofit leading legal action in three states.
The actions were filed by the Center for Reproductive Rights on behalf of physicians and women who were denied or delayed access to abortion care despite facing serious pregnancy complications.
