UT's contention was initially that the air force had said that they will look after the maintenance of the artefacts installed there but later, shifted their responsibility to the administration.
It was in July that the Air Force had submitted a proposal for expansion of the Indian Air Force Heritage Centre in Sector 18, Chandigarh, under phase II and the work was set to begin in two weeks then.
The entire 200 second virtual exercise, is part of the many such experiences that one can be a part of at the country's first Airforce Heritage Centre that was inaugurated in Sector 18 Chandigarhon Monday by Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh.
Spread across 17,000 sq ft, the nation's first such centre, showcases IAF's evolution since its inception and houses a collection of artefacts, murals and 3D dioramas.
