Korean Electronics Giant samsung has released the results of its investigation into its flagship galaxy note 7 smartphones. In october last year the phones were recalled because some had overheated and caught fire. The company today confirmed problems with the design saying the manufacturing of batteries was to blame, not the actual phones. The note 7 was supposed to rival apples iphone 7 but instead, the device caused massive damage to the companys profits, and its brand. Last year, over 100 of the phones spontaneously burst into flames. This
"I think it is good that Apple joined the competition. I mean Apple is a big brand so its good," HTC chief executive and co-founder Cher Wang told AFP at the four-day Mobile World Congress, the telecom industry biggest annual show, which got underway in Barcelona on Monday.
HTC's CEO, Cher Wang, sees Apple's entry into the virtual reality (VR) market as positive, believing it will propel the technology towards mainstream adoption. Apple launched its high-priced Vision Pro headset on February 2nd, marking its biggest product debut since the original iPhone in 2007.
