Corey MacPherson supplied the winning steer for trainer Kevin MacLean and owner Reg MacPherson of Stratford as the champion daughter of Rollwithitharry won in 1:58.1 over a muddy track rated two-seconds off. Gonna Fool Ya (Driven by David Dowling) was first to the lead in the $2,900 Fillies and Mares preferred class and put down splits of :29.2 and :59.2 before Woodmere Skyroller appeared from the back of the pack and made front at the three-quarters of 1:28.4. Gonna Fool Ya fought back in the final panel to fall half-a-length short in second with Killean Finale (Ken Murphy) third.
