To some people, itâs a bigger sin to misspell pickleball than it is to disregard a posted âwear maskâ sign.
I am referring to a recent Enterprise letter in which the writer stated that âseveral neighbors of the new Lawrence School court are âdisgruntledâ residents, that we are trying to to put a âkiboshâ (decisively and or reject) on those looking to exercise, activity that is healthy for all members of the town.â
Not so; itâs the noise we object to. A quote I read went on: âThere is a lesson in thinking about adding trendy pickleball courts. Itâs noisy. With 32 people playing at the same time, itâs a real racket, so if you put them in, make sure itâs not too close to houses.â
