The new owner of legendary Hull live music venue The Welly is keen to see it open again as soon as possible, as he makes plans for more “really quite exciting” developments in the city.
Aaron Mellor, managing director of Tokyo Industries, which has bought the Beverley Road club, said The Welly will benefit from some aesthetic improvements, while retaining all of its original character.
