Thank you, mr. President. I come to the floor today to pay tribute to this great wyoming leader. For nearly a quarter of a century, mike enzi has represented the people of wyoming in washington, and hes done it with intelligence, with intensity e and with integrity. The cowboy state and the capitol are going to sorely miss mike if enzi. Hes truly cemented his legacy as the trusted trail boss of the wyoming congressional delegation, and its been an incredible honor and a great privilege for my wife bobbi and me to serve the people of wyoming alongside mike and husband wife diana who is with us today. I mike is truly a devoted family man as well as a man of great and deep faith. In fact, mike taught sunday school over the decades, many in the Faith Community know that mikes first sunday schoolteacher was my wife bobbis mother, jerry brown. Jerry and husband wife both passed away this year, and they had been married 70 years. He taught sunday school in wyoming, and her star pupil was mike
We are concerned with anything that could derail the process. As it stands now, i cannot see that happening, but hopefully it does not happen. Have you had any contact with embers of the biden transition . No, no contact. That help ensure a seamless transition from one administration to another . As i said, we are here to serve. If people want to contact us, of course we will be available. Know, i amd, as you not a federal employee. Doing now to all of the public. Are we about to tip in to the most intense part we have experienced of this pandemic to date . Yes. On the one hand, that is true. When you say exponential, you mean the curve is very, very steep. If you look at the curve of what we had in spring, when it was dominated by the infections in the northeast and part of the country particularly the new york metropolitan area, the curve was like this. When you look at what we saw in the Southern States when we tried to reopen, the curve was also like this. Right now, the curve is like that. It is going up at a very rapid rate. And you looked in a most every single day, in fact gives you another record. Having said that you do not want people to get terrified. But you want them to understand that we can do something about that. By mitigation methods. And also, help is on the way. So we should not look upon this as a hopeless situation. And one of the things, when you get covid fatigue, which is understandable,
Contest the election in several states across the country and his efforts last night, comments last night. Sure. First i say elections have to accomplish two purposes, first of all they have to decide the outcome, a winner, in this case the presidency. But secondly they have to do that in a manner that satisfies the loser and the losers supporters that the outcome is just. I think thats where this election probably has fallen short. So i think its understandable that the president and many of his supporters, including me, have many questions about this election. Frankly we saw an unprecedented number of changes to the election procedures across the country. Many of those procedures not tested before this election. Most of those procedures resulting in a delay in getting to an answer. And now we see a rush to judgment. Despite having introduced untested proceduresprocedures, questionable procedures in some cases you may say, now many want to push past the actual careful counting of the

So far 306 electoral votes for joe biden, 232 for President Trump. The popular vote standing at 81 million for joe biden and 74 million for President Trump. Here is the headline reporting in the Washington Post. Trump escalates election attacks in 46 minute video rant. They say trumps video represented his most comprehensive remarks about the election and came after he spent the month since the election hidden from public view say for a handful of appearances and a call in on fox news channel. Any hope of the president might be coming to grips with his loss and accepting the fact that joe biden will be sworn in as president was dashed by his combative and emphatic tone, which amounted to a call to arms to his supporters. The fight is paying dividends with trumps political operation. Using a bl
