The Supreme Court also set aside the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) order dated November 9, 2022 and directed the developer to refund the deposited amount of Rs 2.25 crore in 12 months with simple interest thereon at 12 % per annum.
The homeownership rate among all racial and ethnic groups rose from 63.9% to 65.2% between 2012 and 2022, a National Association of Realtors report said.
