HOLLAND For one administrator at Holland Christian Schools, making pie is tradition.
When she s not working her day job as human resources director, Rachel Hendershot is baking up sweet treats for the community at Rachel Lynn Handmade Creations. It s really kind of nostalgic for me, Hendershot said. Growing up, I lived right down the street from my grandmother and, as a kid, I remember spending a lot of time with her and baking. It s her crust recipe that I use now.
Hendershot opened her at-home bakery at the suggestion of her family.
