if nothing else this shows how easy it is to cause major disruptions for airlines and passengers. in one instance one of these aircraft was an air france flight. that was escorted for a time by u.s. fighter jets until it landed. we have video of bags being searched. ultimately they came up with nothing. this ended up apparently being a hoax. lets show you a map of the affected airports. newark jfk and boston s logan airport. the passengers didn t know what was happening until it landed. we didn t know-nothing until we get over here. we had to follow the security procedures and we didn t know about chemical weapons or anything. the fbi is still investigating this. no doubt trying to figure out who placed all of these phone calls. at least one of the threats did specifically mention a chemical weapon. they must deal with hoax phone
