Santa Clarita Elementary Schools Prepare To Re-Open TK-6 In-Person Instruction Next Week
Officials with three of the elementary school districts in the Santa Clarita Valley announced plans to re-open their classrooms for in-person instruction for students in grades TK-6 starting next week.

On Tuesday, officials with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LADPH) announced that the county had met the state’s threshold for five consecutive days with daily COVID-19 case rates standing at 25 cases per 100,000.
Following this announcement, the superintendents for the Newhall School District (NSD), the Castaic Union School District (CUSD) and the Sulphur Springs Union School District (SSUSD) announced that they plan to begin phasing students back into the classroom starting Monday.
