We are here this morning for three closely related purposes and first we will examine federal revenues generated from Energy Development on our federal lands, indian lands and federal offshore areas. Secondly, we will explore how that revenue is just a bid among federal programs and shared with the state, local and tribal governments. Finally, we will hear testimony on two measures that would boost revenue sharing from onshore renewable as well as offshore development. Both bills under consideration or sponsored by members of this committee. Senator cassidy has introduced s2418 which is the coastal act and senator mick sally has introduced f2 666 which is a public lands are knowable Energy Development act. As a cosponsor of the coastal act i want to thank senator cassidy for introducing legislation that would bring revenue sharing for coastal producing states into parity with onshore developments. This was the last photograph taken of the fountain before it was dismantled. Engineers determined rather than moving it in one place, the fountain would have to be cut along mortared joints. Tida is the steward owner and caretaker of both the covarrbias murals and the pacific fountains. Five of the six murals have been lovingly preserved. One has been missing since the 60s, which is sad, but the rest are preserved, while the fountain languishes with a certain amount of pathos on the island. San francisco should be proud that this fountain recognizes the citys recognition of the pacific as a united a unity of economic and cultural partners. Their names are not on streets and buildings. Stations are named after the streets and acknowledges like stockton and montgomery. Buildings like chase. Richard, welcome. Thank you, commissioners. On here, on another item, i wanted to talk about some other mural projects that i am working on. First, the alamein he Health Centre building, which the commissioners approved as a city landmark. That building is in process of being renovated. The city found a vendor or an occupant, and they are very appreciative of the murals inside the building, we will get to see what is on the bottom of the painted mural, which nobody has seen probably in a long time and the other building i want to talk about is the mothers building and that is not going too well. We got the funds from the Historic Preservation fund for them to do this study, and then also supervisor tang gave money to do the shortterm and immediate repairs, and they are all taken care of, but since that time, almost a year, nothing is happening.
