Heritage campaigners are sifting through applications to re-open an historic cinema in the centre of Prescot.
THE £4.7 million restoration and redevelopment of Skipton Town Hall, turning it into a cultural hub for the whole of Craven, will be revealed to the public this summer. Craven District Council says the work to transform the historic building, which got underway in Spring, 2019, is now almost complete and proving the Government s roadmap to recovery goes as planned, will open on June 21 with a number of exciting events. The major building works are finished and the re-fit of Craven Museum, the concert hall, information and visitor centre and exhibition gallery is well underway, turning into a centre for the 21st century.
