In an advisory, the UP Office of Admissions said that the online portal for Form 2 submission “will be live” from Feb. 16 to March 5, 2021.
“The UP Office of Admissions is now initiating contact with the high schools, which is being done in batches,” it said. “Applicants are advised to occasionally visit the portal to see if their school has already submitted their grades,” it added.
The Office of Admissions said that the deadline of Form 2 submission on March 5. “The applicant will receive their Forms 1 and 2 as well as the acknowledgment receipt in PDF format,” it added.

University of the Philippines resumed its online portal for admissions on Friday morning after it failed to launch on the scheduled date.
UP said that first-year college applicants for the academic year 2021-2022 can now access the UP information website and the online portal for admission applications when it was not able to go through on January 7.
Before accessing the admissions portal, applicants are enjoined to visit upcollegeadmissions.up.edu.ph for preparatory information, instructions and the latest announcements.
“Applicants shall accomplish Form 1 (Personal Data Sheet) electronically and upload their photo and electronic signature. The names of the applicants will be sent to their high schools for batch processing of grade submission starting January 18, 2021,” UP said on its website.

The University of the Philippines (UP) will begin accepting online applications for first-year students for the next academic year starting January 7, without administering its admission test due to the pandemic.
In a statement, UP said that an online portal for admission applications will be opened for incoming freshmen students who are qualified to enter the University for the Academic Year 2021-2022.
First-year applicants will not undergo the UP College Admissions Test (UPCAT) for the next academic year following a unanimous vote by the University Councils not to administer the entrance exams “in light of health and logistical issues brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
