Team Federal Shines at Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun Match
U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Team Federal had an excellent showing at the 25th Anniversary of the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun Match held at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club in Mesa, Arizona. Federal Ammunition was a premier match sponsor for a third consecutive year. This large event brings together the nation’s top 3-gun shooters and is the longest running 3-Gun match in the country.
Federal Ammunition Brand Ambassadors Dakota Overland and Josh Froelich performed very well. Overland won High Junior and High Lady in Tactical 3-Gun Division. Josh Froelich won 4th Place in the Open Division. “This competition was ideal for testing equipment and shooting skills with a mix of long-range targets along with close-up, fast-paced shooting requirements. U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Benelli pro shooter Dakota Overland won High Junior and High Lady in Tactical 3-Gun Division at this year’s Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun match. Fellow Benelli pro shooter Aaron Hayes also took first place in the Limited Division.
As one of the longest-running and largest multi-gun matches of its kind, the annual Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun match is on top of most shooters’ list of anticipated events. Hosted each spring in Arizona, the match brings together the nation’s top 3-gun shooters and the Benelli pro team showed strong at this year’s event.

Ruger Team Captain Doug Koenig Takes Pair of Production Division PRS Wins
U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is pleased to announce that Team Captain Doug Koenig has opened his 2021 season with a Production Division win at the Frontline Fury PRS Pro Bolt Gun Series match held at Frontline Defense in Warrenton, NC.
The match consisted of 18 challenging stages requiring each competitor to accurately engage multiple targets at distances of up to 1000 yards. Koenig finished with a final score of 156, competing with the stock Custom Shop Ruger Precision® Rifle chambered in 6mm Creedmoor.
