The stylish hat was reminiscent of one often worn by Prince Edward s wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who is thought to be particularly close with Kate. The former Archbishop of Canterbury who married Prince William and Kate Middleton has revealed the moment he knew their marriage would be a success, as he reflects on their wedding day in a documentary airing tonight. More than two billion people tuned in to watch Rowan Williams, 70, the then Archbishop of Canterbury marry the Duke, now 38, and Duchess of Cambridge, now 39, at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011.
