Saying that americans are working, and the president said that the 5 Unemployment Rate is evidence of the economys strength. U. S. Businesses created 151,000 jobs last month, and that pushed the Unemployment Rate down to 5. 9 , the lowest that it has been since the president took office, and it was accompanied by a rise in wages, up half a percentage point. We are recovering from the worst economic crisis since the 1930s.
