Juvenile Killed In Jet Ski Accident On Minnesota Lake Get our free mobile app Spring Park, MN (KROC AM News) -  There was a fatal crash involving a jet ski and a juvenile on a popular Twin Cities lake on Wednesday. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Water Patrol was contacted at 5:45 pm about the crash that happened on Lake Minnetonka. Deputies arrived to find an unresponsive juvenile who had been pulled from the water by boaters. The sheriff’s office says the boaters had started CPR. Deputies took over life-saving measures and transported the victim to Water Patrol Headquarters in Spring Park where an ambulance was waiting. Medics’ attempts to save the victim’s life were unsuccessful.

Man drowns while swimming at beach on Lake Minnetonka It s the second death on the lake in as many days. Author: A man drowned while swimming at Commons Beach on Lake Minnetonka Thursday evening. Authorities were called to the beach in Excelsior on a report of a swimmer who d gone underwater and didn t resurface. The Hennepin County Sheriff s Office Water Patrol sent three boats to search for the man, with South Lake Minnetonka Police, Excelsior Fire and the DNR also responding. A DNR conservation officer saw the swimmer underwater, and along with a Hennepin County deputy pulled him onto the patrol boat, with lifesaving measures then starting.
