President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated Eastern Cape’s ANC delegates for their discipline and positive spirit that prevented their conference degenerating into chaos despite credentials disputes that delayed everything.
The Eastern Cape government has rubbished concerns that service delivery and government work may have taken a back seat because a number of government officials and politicians are still at the protracted ANC elective conference in East London.
The conference, which starts on Friday, was postponed a few days before it could sit last month, to the disappointment of delegates who believed they would emerge victorious at the conference.
