Blink Charging Co., an owner, operator and provider of electric vehicle charging equipment and services, has signed an exclusive seven-year agreement with Lehigh Valley Health Network to own and operate charging stations across the health network s locations, according to a press release.
The agreement allows Blink to deploy EV chargers across LVHN s hundreds of health care facilities, including hospitals, health centers, physician practices, rehabilitation locations, ExpressCARE sites and other outpatient care locations throughout Pennsylvania. Under this agreement, Blink will own and operate the charging stations.
The deployments began with the first Level 2 fast-charging stations at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Six additional chargers are scheduled to be deployed in 2020 at LVH-Muhlenberg, and six at its soon-to-open LVH-Hecktown Oaks campus in early 2021. More electric vehicle charging stations coming to Lehigh Valley Health Network facilities

More Lehigh Valley Health Network campuses are expected to receive electric vehicle charging stations in 2021.
Blink Charging initially installed the first Level 2 fast-charging stations at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township. Six additional chargers are scheduled to be installed at the Muhlenberg campus in Allentown and another six at the soon-to-open Hecktown Oaks campus in Lower Nazareth Township by early 2021.
The remainder of the healthcare network’s 219 chargers are expected to be installed throughout 2021, a Blink Charging representative said.
The charging stations will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Blink, one of the nation’s leading EV charging equipment providers, will own and operate the chargers, as well as handle customer transactions, under the seven-year agreement with Lehigh Valley Health.
