State officials are moving to revoke a Miami venue's liquor license for hosting what they’re calling a “sexually explicit” drag show with children present.
Gov. Ron DeSantis' administration filed a six-count legal complaint against an Orlando venue that hosted “A Drag Queen Christmas," accusing it of exposing "minor children to lewd sexual acts.” Unresolved is whether the Broward Center of the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale might also be subjected to the same potential fate, jeopardizing alcoholic beverage sales.
State officials are now investigating after getting complaints that the “sexually explicit” performance was marketed to children. The traveling show made a stop in Fort Lauderdale on Monday. The investigation was announced the very next day.
