From the period of 1 January 2021 until 20 April 2021, a total of 83 Covid-19 clusters with a total of 4,868 cases have been detected involving the Education Sector, according to the Health Ministry.
In a statement released online, Health Minister Datuk Dr Adham Baba said that out of 83 clusters – 49 were still active with 2,617 cases while 34 clusters with 2,251 cases has ended.
He also said that 39 clusters with 1,420 cases involve the sub-category of Schools/Institutions of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE).
Meanwhile, 19 clusters with 1,870 cases were identified the sub-category of Higher Education and 25 clusters with 1,578 cases related to the Other Education sub-category.

The “travel bubble” is meant for ministers who will go overseas to secure foreign investments. These ministers cannot deviate from the itenerary, so as to strictly control the exact people that they will come into contact with. Ministers will also not be allowed free reign.
