Tigers Compete on Day One of Lake Wheeler Invite

RALEIGH, N.C. Clemson completed the first day of competition, upending Big Ten and Pac-12 opponents and was highlighted by second-place finishes in the 1V4+ and 2V8+. While race times were delayed multiple times, the Tigers stayed focused on Lake Las Vegas, with the 2V8 finishing second in the first race of the day clocking in at 7:36.51, and defeating Pac-12 opponent UCLA and BIG 10 contender Iowa before the 1V8 finished in third, clocking in at 7:20.50. In addition, the fours competed incredibly well with the 2V4+ placing third at 8:06.63 while the 1V4+ clocked in at 7:52.32, which was good for second place.   At this point in the season, there are no easy races, says Head Coach Stephen Frazier Wong. We came out on the wrong side of a few really close battles and we learned a lot today. Our team has tons of grit and I know we can come back strong tomorrow. Clemson Upends Several Competitors, Registers Four First Place Finishes

RALEIGH, N.C. Clemson competed on the first day of the Lake Wheeler Invite in Raleigh, N.C., defeating boats from Louisville, Temple, Oklahoma, Duke, Navy, UCF, Syracuse, Bucknell and Penn. The Tigers performed well, placing second in every boat, including the V4+, 2V4+, V8+, 2V8+ and 3V8+.  For information on all results, click the link here. Tigers Battle Alabama in Scrimmage on Lake Hartwell

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Tigers started off the 2022 season with a scrimmage against Alabama on Saturday morning on Lake Hartwell.
