A Coast boxer is not letting his dream outweigh reality as he locks down a solid back-up option in case things don’t work out in the ring.
It took Sam “The Surgeon” Cameron-Hands less than 30 seconds to win his debut professional fight and he is keen to lock in his next bout.
But that won’t be at the expense of his studies and work in real estate industry.
The 22-year-old knocked out opponent Chris Hunt with a damaging left hook 29 seconds into the first round of their Brisbane fight on March 13.
It was his first professional fight in the lightweight division and he said it was an amazing feeling to come away with the win.
