VICTORIA - Two schools have stopped in-person classes in British Columbia, just two days after most students returned to classrooms following an extended holiday break due to the surging COVID-19 Omicron variant.
A secondary school in northwestern B.C., and an independent school in Surrey are the first in the province to close due to staff shortages since the Omicron wave began.
