FFA members facilitated stations that helped to teach the third graders about agriculture and its various components. The students were split into groups and taken to 18 different stations around the high school where they enjoyed face painting, supervised ATV and horse rides, woodworking demonstrations, livestock-centered crafts, games, tractor safety lessons, wildlife demonstrations and fish activities.

This program is designed to recognize student success in their Supervised Agriculture experience in one or more of the 47 recognized competition divisions. The Cardington FFA has four students recognized as state finalists in their specific area. This means they placed as one of the top four individuals in their area. Once they reached this distinction, they interviewed with a panel of industry judges to determine their final placements.

FFA dancin' in the rain – Ohio Ag Net | Ohio's Country Journal

By Matt Reese It is impossible to replace the in-person experience of the Ohio FFA Convention for the students who participate, but this year’s virtual installment still had plenty of highlights and recognition for FFA members who worked to make the best of the situation.  The West Holmes FFA took things one step closer to an in-person convention by hosting FFA chapters from several counties with an in-person viewing at the Holmes County Fairgrounds. Dale Minyo served as the emcee for their FFA FUNvention. West Holmes FFA even got to celebrate their own Chase Stitzlein’s Star Farmer win together.
