A Texas man is first person to choose to take his chances with an Albemarle County jury for crimes related to participation in the torch-lit march on UVa Grounds.
"The defense needs additional time to review discovery, meet with Ms. Hoppe, obtain relevant records, and perform necessary investigation," wrote Assistant Federal Public Defender Ned Smock.
