The family of Falmouth murder victim Aaron Pill have been praised for their dignity at the conclusion of a trial that saw two men sentenced to life in prison. Liam Bastow, 25, and Kane Coggin, 27, had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to the manslaughter of 25-year-old Aaron Pill on May 5 this year, but were found guilty of murder by a jury at Truro Crown Court earlier this month. Now the senior investigating officer in the case, Detective Inspector Costa Nassaris, has praised Mr Pill s family and thanked the detectives involved for carrying out the inquiry amid challenge circumstances. He said: “This was a planned attack which resulted in the death of a young father in his home in May this year.
