IMPHAL: The Manipur police arrested two persons on charges of illegally selling cough syrup during a search operation at Lamphel Sanakeithel area under Imphal west district. The arrest and seizure was made during a search operation by a team of police commandos led by inspector Kh Henery Singh, officer in charge of Imphal East district unit under the command of Additional SP (Operation) Kh Herojit Singh of Imphal East and under the supervision of SP Ksh Shivakanta Singh of Imphal East district at Lamphel Sana Keithel near AG Colony in Imphal on Wednesday, police said on Thursday.
