The Vermont House approved legislation on March 30 that would pause the state’s initiative to test school buildings for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
Vermont’s public schools started providing free meals for all students during the pandemic. Last spring, the Vermont legislature created the Universal School Meals Program and funded it for this school year. Lawmakers now have a chance to make that change permanent.
