HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Hattiesburg Mayor Toby Barker announced Wednesday the two people who will lead the Hattiesburg Police Department during its transition following the retirement of Chief Anthony Parker.
Assistance Chief Peggy Sealy will assume the duties of police chief on Jan. 1, and Major Hardy Sims will assume the duties of assistant chief. They will remain in those roles for the remainder of the term.
