Killoe native looking forward to ‘annoying people’ in Leinster House Reporter:   ); Killoe native, Brian Mahon, has nabbed what he has called “the best job in the world” after announcing he was taking up a role as a political reporter in Leinster House for the Times Ireland and the Sunday Times. The former St Mel’s College student told the Longford Leader last week that he’s “looking forward to annoying people” and writing every day for work. The son of Mary and Tom Mahon, Brian studied History and Politics and International Relations in UCD for his undergrad before doing an MA in Legislative Studies and Practice and working for a year in the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Hanover Health appoints two new associate directors

Hanover Health appoints two new associate directors Donna Curran joins the communications team and Mark MacDonald joins the public affairs practice Hanover Health has announced two new senior appointments, with Donna Curran and Mark MacDonald joining the company as associate directors. MacDonald (pictured right) joins from the Stroke Association, where he worked for just over five years. Most recently, he worked as systems leadership development lead the UK-based charity. Prior to this, he served as deputy head of the parliamentary support unit and deputy head of the policy support team for the Liberal Democrats. Curran (pictured left) most recently worked for Ruder Finn as associate director for over seven years. She has also previously held roles at a number of agencies including Packer Forbes Communications, Racepoint Group and Euro RSCG.
